VIDEOS
Conducting preparation: ‘Allegro’ conducting demonstration
This video is a conducted playthrough of the Florence Price score with the audio. It aims to show how this piece might be conducted.
Conducting preparation: ‘Allegro’ score guidance
This score guidance video is a brief talkthrough of ‘Allegro’ by Rocco Brunori, one of our Modulo conductors. It aims to identify some key musical features of the piece; general information relating to tempo, structure and also draws out some of the key passages or moments of interest or ‘tricky bits’ in the score as well as how they might be tackled in rehearsal and at Modulo Meets.
The video also discusses articulation, style of playing and aims to help us all share some ideas about how we are going to play when we join together.
